Dr. Ravindra Surude is a Gastroenterologist from Mumbai with 21 years of clinical experience and 13 years of experience in field of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endoscopy.

Academics

He has graduated from Grant Medical College and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals., Mumbai in 2002 which is one of the premier medical institutions in India , He further completed his MD (General Medicine) from esteemed B. J. Medical College & Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, India in 2008 after securing a rank in All India medical entrance examination. He further pursued DM (Gastroenterology) from prestigious Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College & Hospital,,Sion Mumbai from 2010-2013.

Experience

He has experience of working at all eminent Gastroenterology teaching departments of Mumbai, after completing his training in gastroenterology. He was Assistant professor at T N Medical College & B Y L Nair Hospital ,Mumbai for 4 years and has served as Associate professor at Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital for a year. He is a recognised university post graduate teacher for DM (Gastroenterology) course. During his tenure at academic institutes, he was actively involved in clinical, academic and administrative activities

He has immense experience in the field of gastroenterology in terms of clinical diagnosis and management. He is having high level of skill in diagnosis and treatment of all kinds of gastrointestinal, biliary, pancreatic and liver disorders.

Dr. Ravindra Surude has expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic GI endoscopic procedures. He has proficiency in performing advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures, He has special skills in performing ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound procedure.

Vision

Gastroenterology is a complex branch of medicine consisting of diseases of multiple organs like liver, intestines, pancreas, spleen and other abdominal miscellaneous organs. Disease severity can range from mild dyspepsia to advanced cancers. The main challenge in Gastroenterology is to identify alarming signs of serious illness as gastrointestinal symptoms like acidity, gases, abdominal pain and constipation are fairly common. Hence, management ranges from simple reassurance to complex endoscopic procedures.
